Well hello there! How’s it going? Just managed to catch my breath after the festive period, and it’s back to mayhem and reality in equal measure. This month is all about getting prepared for the Tatton Wedding Show in three weeks or so – looking forward to showing the band off on the exhibition stage for the first time.
To tie in with the Wedding Fayre, I’ve arranged another Gillan Edgar Band public showcase, again at the fantastic Comedy Store on Deansgate Locks, Manchester on Saturday 18th Feb. We’ll be doing the usual quick half hour in the interval of the comedy show (10:30), then a full on gig once everyone’s had their sides well and truly split upstairs (about 12). I can’t wait – it’s not often we get to play an open gig like this, a chance to let our hair down and demand more requests than usual!
So, to check out the calibre of the Gillan Edgar Band, make your way to the Helter Skelter bar, downstairs at the Comedy Store, Manchester on Saturday 18th Feb. Get there early and grab a front row table; it’s much easier to make out your requests in the raucous rabble!
